Pro Tip: Dark Chocolate

Here's a nutrition tip I think most of you can get behind: have some dark chocolate before your next hard workout. 

Try a square or two of a dark chocolate bar thirty minutes before a run or bike. Or, about 45-60 minutes before hitting the gym, make my favorite mini-meal.

  • Toast two pieces of whole grain bread with peanut butter and a sliced banana. Sprinkle with a mini handful of chopped chocolate chips.
