Make Your Workout Magical with these Cookie Dough Bites
There's a cafe in NYC that serves specializes in edible cookie dough. We haven't been yet because the line is way too long and we aren't into waiting in long lines in the cold. So we decided to create our own version of this treat. And with the help of Amy's Food Factory, we came up with a version that's gluten-free and healthy enough to be considered a kid-friendly after school treat or a pre-workout energy bite. Watch this video to find out how to them:
Β
Magic Cookie Dough Bites
3/4 cup almond meal/flour (we used the kind that is NOT finely ground)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of sea salt
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
sprinkles (optional)
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl. Form into bite-sized balls and roll in sprinkles (if you want to).
