Surviving the Bomb Cyclone: Bulletproof Collagen Boosted Coffee
Phew! We made it through the deep freeze that last week's Bomb Cylcone.
I wasn't going to let a little "weather" (ok so maybe it wasn't exactly little) derail the my training plan for the upcoming 2018 tri season, so off I trudged through the snow and wind to the pool each day.
Usually after a hard workout, a smoothie would be an ideal recovery food, but reaching into the freezer after walking through a freezer? No thanks. Instead, I've been replenishing with some of my favorite warming foods, like this Bulletproof Coffee boosted with a scoop of Collagen Protein and topped with coconut cream and chocolate shavings. And of course a few squares of HU Chocolate don't hurt!
