Remember back in June when Laurel on the Challenge Atlantic City race? By winning that race, she not only became the first cancer survivor to win an iron-distance race, but she also won an all-expenses paid trip to the Kingdom of Bahrain to compete in a championship race. I will not be competing, but am traveling with Laurel to the middle east as her coach and sherpa. Stay tuned as we'll document our travels and the food we eat along the way, starting with the 15 hour flight over there. Laurel will be in first class and I'll be in the back of the plane snacking on a bars and bagels. --Bec
