Ok, I'll admit, this is no milkshake. But if you want to fuel up on superfoods instead of sugar, give this shake a try. With a healthy dose of omega-3's, protein and other essential nutrients, consider it a treat!

Superfood Shake
Serves: 1
1 cup almond milk, plain and unsweetened
1 banana
1 handful of ice (5-8 cubes)
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
2 tablespoons hempseeds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon cocao nibs
1 teaspoon nut butter
1 teaspoon honey
Add all the ingredients to a blender. Mix until the ice cubes are pulverized and the seeds are crushed.
Serve immediately.
