Starting in 2012, Athlete Food will post original recipes. We’ll share the staples of our daily menus, from protein-heavy dinners to calorie-packed snacks to dishes prepared in hotel rooms around the world (our version of room service involves a microwave and a titanium spork). The recipes will be professionally edited, tested by our ruthlessly honest friends and family and, most importantly, will reveal what professional athletes really eat.
The recipes will include photos taken by Laurel. We’ll post the first recipe right after the New Year. After that we'll publish two to three recipes a month, as our training and racing schedules allow.
