Congrats to all the triathletes who braved the HOT and HUMID conditions at today's NYC tri. It was not easy to race out there today!
I started feeling hot on the bike, but managed to FIGHT my way to the finish line. When I heard that Laurel had moved into 2nd place, I fought even harder. Not only because I didn't want her to run faster than me (which she did), but it was the best news I've ever heard during a race.
Thanks to everyone who lined the streets and cheered us on--especially SJ, who walked all over town on his sore hip, and, of course, our loyal superfans.
